About the Role

We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Environment, Health and Safety professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and direct a team that remains in compliance with all relevant corporate and local food safety and environment, health, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Environmental Health & Safety

  • Develop EHS & food safety manuals and review annually or less if required.
  • Lead or participate in EHS/HACCP/ISO/Sustainability/OHSMS compliance audits.
  • Establish audit requirements for food safety, occupational safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct employee training programs and assess training needs.
  • Monitor supplier/contractor compliance with EHS & food safety standards.
  • Update internal procedures based on regulatory changes.
  • Perform regular workplace inspections and implement corrective measures.
  • Manage all EHSMS & food safety documentation.
  • Collaborate on corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Oversee Rotana Earth program implementation.

Occupational Health & Safety

  • Develop and review OHSMS manuals, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor OHS System through inspections and meetings.
  • Assist in setting EHS objectives and targets.
  • Ensure new employees receive task-specific OHS training.
  • Report OHSMS performance to management and regulatory authorities.
  • Update and communicate legal requirements across the property.
  • Plan compliance audits and establish corrective action plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Health/Hygiene/Quality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Computer literate with strong English communication skills.
