Project Overview
PATH seeks a Manager Finance and Administration for the Tanzania project team for the USG-funded Reaching every at-risk community and household with malaria services (PMI REACH Malaria) global project. PMI REACH Malaria aims to provide implementation support services and technical assistance to countries to accelerate progress in comprehensive delivery of facility and community-based malaria services, including malaria case management, prevention of malaria in pregnancy (MiP), seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC), health systems strengthening, data collection and use for service delivery, and other malaria prevention interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall technical and administrative leadership in financial and grants management.
- Ensure compliance with PATH policies and donor requirements.
- Advise staff on donor rules and provide financial training as needed.
- Manage monthly financial reports and liaise with auditors.
- Assess partner financial capacity and develop action plans for gaps.
- Develop and monitor program budgets and expenditures.
- Supervise finance and operations teams for budgeting, procurement, and reporting.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting (ACCA/ICSA/CIMA/ACA preferred).
- 7+ years in financial management, preferably with international organizations.
- 5+ years managing USAID awards (contracts/Grants under Contract experience preferred).
- Expertise in USAID rules, subgrants, and capacity building.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and financial audits.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional fluency in English.
