Position: Hardware Sales Representative

Location: Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Tanga, Singida (Tanzania)

Salary: Competitive

Key Requirement: 2-3 years of B2B/B2C hardware sales experience

Role Overview

As a Hardware Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of driving sales growth, expanding market share, and delivering tailored hardware solutions to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for hardware products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed needs analysis and product demonstrations.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, logistics, and customer service) to ensure smooth sales execution and post-sale support.
  • Closing new deals at a high rate.
  • Building relationships with existing customers.
  • Cultivating new leads within the sales territory.
  • Travelling throughout Tanga, Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Manyara and Singida region to visiting customers on a recurring basis.
  • Managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Maintaining records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
  • Representing the brand during all customer and prospect interactions.
  • Educating customers on how products can benefit them financially and in other relevant ways.
  • Monitoring the company’s industry competitors, new products and market conditions and aligning sales strategies accordingly.

Education & Experience

Education:

  • A degree or diploma in sales and marketing or a related field.
  • Customer service training is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Must have 2-3 years working experience as a field sales representative selling hardware products (Both B2B & B2C).

Required Skills

  • Must be comfortable on the phone.
  • Possess a competitive attitude and highly confident.
  • Excellent conversational/interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
