Type: Full-time volunteer (40 hours/week)

Our Volunteering Opportunities

Mydia-tz values human capital in achieving its goals. We invite qualified individuals to apply for the Volunteer Programs & Grants Coordinator role. Preferred qualifications include Project Planning, Social Sciences, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Programs management and Organizational Business Development.
  • Provide technical support for program planning, budgeting, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate grants research and writing processes.
  • Manage partnerships with organizations aligned with Mydia-tz’s mission.
  • Ensure donor compliance for funded projects, including reporting guidelines.
  • Represent Mydia-tz in financial management meetings/workshops.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Project Planning, Community Development, Education, Economics, Public Health, or related fields.
  • Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience managing organizational or project budgets.
  • At least two years of volunteer experience in NGOs/INGOs.
  • Strong writing, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Innovative, flexible, and goal-oriented.

Office Offer

This is a non-salaried volunteer role. Successful candidates will work full-time in the Kasulu office with provided workspace, basic equipment, internet, and a monthly communication allowance.
