About SMMUCo

Stefano Moshi Memorial University College (SMMUCo) is a Constituent College of Tumaini University Makumira (TUMA). The University College is headquartered at Masoka Village, 14 km north of Moshi Municipality in Kilimanjaro Region. SMMUCo intends to resume admission of students in the next academic year (2026/27).

Qualifications

General

Applicants must be Tanzanian, male or female, of integrity and outstanding academic experience and capability.

Specific

Lecturers: Holders of PhD and GPA of 3.5 or above at Bachelor’s Degree and 4.0 or above at Master’s Degree majoring in any of the above specialties.

Assistant Lecturers: Holders of Master’s Degree in any of the above specialties with GPA of 3.5 or above at Bachelor’s Degree and 4.0 or above at Master’s Degree.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate students.
  • Supervise and mentor undergraduate students.
  • Participate in research, consultancies, and dissemination of research findings.
  • Engage in functional outreach works.
  • Provide leadership role to the university college.

As per the Scheme of Service of Stefano Moshi Memorial University College (SMMUCo).
