IT Support Engineer Job Vacancy at Exodus

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Key Requirement: Diploma in IT/Computer Science + 1 year experience in multinational staff support. ITIL certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Services in accordance with ITIL v3 (level 3) framework
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks and applications
  • Continuously monitor and maintain systems and networks
  • Respond to technical support calls and communicate solutions
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system/network problems and hardware complications
  • Support new application roll-outs and maintain issue resolution records
  • Provide onsite/remote IT support and perform desktop-level fixes
  • Log client requests/queries and document resolutions
  • Develop help sheets and knowledge base articles

Requirements

  • Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • ITILv3/v4 certification (added advantage)
  • 1 year experience supporting multinational staff
  • Fluent in oral/written English
  • Self-learning ability via web resources and trainings
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
  • Logical/strategic thinking with customer service orientation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
