Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with strong hands-on accounting experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, managing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and review daily financial transactions with proper allocation.
  • File and classify supporting accounting documents and records.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and correspondence.
  • Manage cash inventory and perform reconciliations.
  • Determine cut off transactions for an accurate closing.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts.
  • Establish the annual financial statements with the external auditor.
  • Monitor and process payments to creditors/banks.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting reports for management.
  • Cross-check forms of invoices according to the taxes and Liberian law.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Relevant practical experience in accounting roles (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work accurately, meets deadlines, and handles confidential information.
  • Team-oriented with good communication and organizational skills.
