About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Training & Quality Assurance Manager to oversee training programs, uphold quality standards, and drive operational excellence across all our properties in Tanzania.

Candidates with experience in 5-star properties and strong knowledge of the African hospitality market are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

  • Design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive training programs, including onboarding, soft skills, technical skills, and leadership development.
  • Conduct training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and implement tailored learning solutions.
  • Mentor departmental trainers and monitor training effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Quality Assurance

  • Establish and enforce high-quality service standards across all properties.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and mystery guest evaluations.
  • Develop corrective action plans based on guest feedback, audits, and KPIs.
  • Create and maintain quality assurance formats, checklists, and SOPs.

Operational Support

  • Support the development, implementation, and review of SOPs.
  • Coach managers and staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Analyze performance data, guest feedback, and KPIs to drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth operations and consistent service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Learning & Development or Quality Assurance within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to staff development and guest satisfaction.
