About the Location

Basic Purpose

Be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data and voice communications activities at property. Forecast technology requirements and upgrades to existing technology to improve effectiveness of installed systems. Execute hotel and corporate systems strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure critical systems (Front Office Property Management System, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX, Food & Beverage POS) are available 24/7
  • Establish/maintain user procedures, system security, and accurate records
  • Provide end-user support for back office, sales & catering, HR applications
  • Manage network support & security (Active Directory, Server/Network Infrastructure)
  • Administer Lotus Notes, global VPN, and communication tools
  • Implement backup plans and adhere to Four Seasons IT Core Standards
  • Lead new systems acquisitions and technology implementations
  • Provide guest support for function rooms/conference services

Additional Duties

  • Recommend new applications to streamline business processes
  • Negotiate computer/data communications contracts
  • Implement technology "best practices" from other Four Seasons properties
  • Establish product lifecycle management and 10-year capital planning
  • Prepare IT operating/capital budgets and present business cases

Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • University/College degree in IT

Experience

  • 2-5 years in IT Department (hotel experience preferred)

Skills

  • Technical knowledge of hotel systems/operations
  • Microsoft/Cisco Certifications desirable
  • Strong network-building/troubleshooting skills (Microsoft/MAC OS)
  • Business/resources/project planning experience
  • Knowledge of Four Seasons policies/procedures and basic accounting
