Job Summary

Acquire and manage relationships with Small and Medium Business customers through pro-active and consultative approach in line with NBC policies and procedures.

  • Utilize customer focus approach to provide holistic financial solutions to basic and complex financial needs by understanding customers’ business process cycle.
  • Provide differentiated customer experience that support NBC value proposition by maintaining regular contacts with customers to ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Manage the quality of assets and liabilities in the portfolio through pro-active monitoring of customers’ transactions trends and movement.

Key Accountabilities

Sales and Relationship Management (40%)

  • Maximize client profitability within agreed targets (Assets, Liabilities, interest and noninterest revenue) by identifying, building, and deepening of relationships.
  • Provide value added engagement, regular face to face meetings, consistent communication with clients.
  • Recognize clients’ business cycle and proactively provide holistic financial solutions.
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of business opportunities and master referrals.
  • Develop and maintain Customer Relationship Management Plan for Top 20 clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions.

Customer Service (20%)

  • Proactively manage client experience by addressing product/service queries.
  • Respond promptly to complaints and provide feedback on unresolved issues.
  • Educate customers on bank products, services, and procedures.
  • Use client feedback to improve offerings.

Compliance and Risk Management (20%)

  • Comply with KYC, AML, and Financial Sanctions policies.
  • Review portfolio monthly to ensure documentation is up-to-date.
  • Identify potential problem accounts and communicate risk strategies.
  • Drive credit review process for new/renewal applications.

Team and Networking (10%)

  • Attend branch meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Maintain dialogue with Retail/Corporate Credit, Corporate Banking, etc.
  • Participate in local business development activities.

Self-Development (10%)

  • Stay updated on policies, procedures, and compliance training.
  • Ensure career-aligned skill development.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma – Business/Accounting.
  • 3 years of banking experience.

Required Skills

  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Proven sales plan implementation ability.
  • Credit process knowledge, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Risk management expertise (credit, operational, market).
