Corporate Security Manager

Purpose: Serve as the security lead for JTI Tanzania, providing risk-based security strategy and oversight across operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk & Crisis Management: Maintain Security Risk Register, lead incident response, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • People & Asset Security: Oversee executive protection, travel security, and supply chain safeguards.
  • Investigations: Conduct objective security-related investigations with cross-functional teams.
  • Networking: Build relationships with law enforcement, government agencies, and industry partners.
  • Financial Management: Develop annual security budgets and manage vendor contracts.
  • Talent Management: Coach and develop the local Corporate Security team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security/Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred.
  • 5+ years in military, law enforcement, or corporate security.
  • Fluent in English & Swahili; local languages a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and security management systems.
