Solution Architect

Job Summary

Under the Design, Build and Maintain (DBM) programme delivered for the Government of Tanzania, The Civil Aviation and Immigration Security Services (CAISS) platform across the country’s international airports. We are recruiting locally for a Solution Architect to own the end-to-end technical design of these systems and to ensure they remain secure, performant, resilient, and aligned with both client requirements and Securiport’s global engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, document, and own the end-to-end solution architecture for CAISS components.
  • Translate business, operational, and regulatory requirements into technical designs.
  • Establish architectural principles and mentor engineering teams.
  • Design integrations with hardware devices and third-party systems.
  • Ensure security, performance, and disaster recovery across deployment sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or 12+ years’ experience).
  • 8+ years of experience, including 2+ years in solution architecture.
  • Proficiency in cloud architectures (Azure/AWS), Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
  • Tanzania nationals only.
