Job Title: Quality Control (QC) – Roof Paints

Key Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field with 3–5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect roofing materials and paint production, monitor mixing/application processes, and perform quality tests (e.g., thickness measurement, adhesion testing) to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Identify defects, recommend corrective actions, follow up on implementation, and ensure all roofing and coating works adhere to safety regulations and relevant standards.
  • Prepare clear inspection reports, maintain quality documentation, and issue non-conformance reports to support continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in roofing & roof paint production supervision, coating application, or quality inspection in construction or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of roof paint types such as acrylic, elastomeric, anti-corrosion, and UV-resistant coatings.
  • Familiarity with Tanzanian climate conditions and their impact on roofing materials.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards (TBS, ASTM, ISO).
