Job Overview

Tabono Consult Limited is seeking a structured and proactive HR Officer to join its client’s team in Zinga, Bagamoyo. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of practical experience across core HR functions, a solid understanding of Tanzanian statutory compliance, and the ability to effectively supervise a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and leave administration.
  • Oversee and guide the daily activities of the HR/admin team.
  • Ensure full compliance with Tanzanian labor laws.
  • Manage statutory deductions (NSSF, WCF, HESLB, PAYE).
  • Assist in payroll preparation and maintain confidential employee records.
  • Prepare HR metrics and reports for management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven HR experience.
  • Understanding of Tanzanian statutory regulations.
