Background

PropelA is a four-year project starting in 2026, implemented by Swisscontact and financed by the Hilti Foundation. The project aims to empower 900 Tanzanian youth through industry-oriented education in electrical installation and plumbing via a dual apprenticeship model.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the project’s communications strategy.
  • Produce high-quality content (articles, social media, press releases).
  • Ensure branding alignment and stakeholder engagement.
  • Organize events and manage media relations.
  • Support knowledge management and learning products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in communications.
  • Strong writing skills in English and Kiswahili.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and strategic planning.
