education programme, Cambridge Education Tanzania Limited (CETL) is offering a 6-month internship for an
. This position provides a recent graduate with direct experience in financial management for a large-scale, government-led education project in Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities
Cash & Bank Management
Prepare bank reconciliation statements, manage petty cash, and record transactions into bank/cash books.
Disbursements & Audit
Prepare payment vouchers, settle undisputed invoices, manage per diems, and ensure all documents meet audit standards.
Tax & Compliance
Ensure adherence to tax regulations, particularly withholding tax provisions.
Reporting
Maintain up-to-date financial records for regular submission to the UK head office.
Candidate Requirements
Nationality
Tanzanian national.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Minimum Upper-Second Class).
Experience
2–3 years of work experience in finance/accounting.
Skills
Excellent English communication, proactive problem-solving, timekeeping, and a keen interest in supporting educational
development
