It builds, owns and operates telecom passive infrastructure, providing services to mobile network operators. Helios Towers currently operates in 9 markets Africa and Middle East.

Overview

The purpose of this role is to work within the Projects department, reporting to the Project Manager, to plan, monitor and control & coordinate all activities associated with project Quality as well as any site-based activities relating to Health & Safety, Build partner Management & Resource Management.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure the project scope is accurately reflected in the Project Design Pack.
  • Own and execute Quality Control activities to ensure final product meets quality standards.
  • Conduct quality audits, factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests and commission reviews.
  • Train Sub-contractors in the HT Installation Standards and Quality Assurance Processes.
  • Review Sub-Contractor Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives within Projects.

Qualifications

  • Project Management certification preferably.
  • Diploma/Degree in engineering/Construction management.
  • 3+ years’ experience in telecommunications infrastructure or related projects.
  • Valid Driving License (DL).
