Position: Partnership Analyst
Office/Unit/Project Description: The UNV Field Units (FU) are mainly accountable for the mobilization and placement of UN Volunteers in UN Agencies, Funds, and Programmes focused on peace, development, and humanitarian needs.
Scope of Work
- Proactively develop and sustain partnerships at the country level with UN agencies, government institutions, civil society, and partners.
- Analyze partner demand and contribute to volunteer mobilization strategies.
- Promote volunteerism through outreach activities and awareness campaigns.
- Ensure Duty of Care for UN Volunteers, including security compliance and well-being.
- Manage the Field Unit’s annual work plan and performance indicators.
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in partnership, social sciences, international development, or related fields.
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) with 2 additional years of experience may be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s) or 4 years (with bachelor’s) in partnerships, development cooperation, or related fields.
- Experience in inter-agency collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and analytical work.
- Proficiency in standard office software and digital collaboration tools.
- Previous UN/UNDP/UNV experience is an asset.
Languages: Fluency in English and the local language of the duty station.
