About the Job

MSF Switzerland (MSFCH) is a humanitarian medical organization providing emergency medical aid to populations in need based in Dagahaley and Mombasa County.

The objective of our project is to provide Access to health care for Adolescent and Youth Population (AYP), with specific focus on Young Key Populations (YKP) affected by social violence and health care exclusion.

Key Details

Start date: October 2025

Length of contract: 12 months fixed term contract (starting with 03 months probationary period)

Reporting to: Deputy Logistics Coordinator and the Project Coordinator.

Main Purpose

Planning, coordinating and monitoring all logistics related activities in the project or capital and providing support to medical assistance activities, according to MSF protocols and standards in order to ensure an optimal running of the project

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Project Coordinator or Deputy Logistics Coordinator in the definition and follow-up of logistics activities in the project or capital, in conjunction with other medical project managers in order to identify and give a response to the needs of the targeted population
  • Ensuring and monitoring the implementation of logistics/technical activities in the project / capital including Logistics (construction, transport, communications, WHS, supply chain), administration, and HR processes.
  • Defining and monitoring technical aspects of the project risk reduction policy, security guidelines, and contingency plans.
  • Participating in monthly reports according to guidelines.

Requirements

Education

Degree/Diploma in Logistics/Supply/Watsan/Engineering/Electricity or related areas

Experience

Essential: Minimum two years of working experience in logistics management related activities.

Desirable: Previous experience with MSF or other NGOs, and working experience in developing countries

Languages

Essential: English

Desirable: Swahili

Knowledge

Computer literacy
