Ando Roofing Product Ltd is hiring a Sales and Marketing Manager for alcoholic beverages. The company is seeking a dynamic individual to lead the growth of their premium vodka brand, Mwamba, across Tanzania and the East African region. This role focuses on driving sales, expanding market reach, and building brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership (50%)

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for retail, on-trade, and wholesale channels.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing.
  • Manage relationships with distributors and key accounts.
  • Consistently meet sales targets.

Brand and Marketing (35%)

  • Craft brand messaging for local markets.
  • Oversee digital marketing, influencer partnerships, and content.
  • Drive the design of packaging and promotional materials.
  • Plan brand activations, events, and tastings.

Team and Performance (15%)

  • Recruit and manage sales representatives and brand ambassadors.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Use data to optimize strategies and improve ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years in alcoholic beverage sales/marketing (gin, spirits, or vodka).
  • Proven brand-building and sales success in East Africa.
  • Strong distributor and key account network.
