Sales Officer (15 Positions)

Location: Multiple Locations, Tanzania

Reporting to: Branch Manager

Job Summary

The Sales Officer will focus on client growth by opening accounts, managing portfolios, and promoting FINCA’s savings and credit services.

Duties

  • Conduct sales drives to explain FINCA products/services.
  • Open accounts for savers and loan clients in the field or at branches.
  • Develop action plans with Branch Managers to meet performance goals.
  • Market FINCA products using approved promotional tools.
  • Submit quality loan applications and manage client relationships.
  • Promote alternative delivery channels (e.g., Agencies).
  • Prepare sales/performance reports and manage customer documentation.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Social Studies, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience in client-facing sales, education, or agriculture preferred.
  • Strong math, analytical, writing, and customer service skills.
  • Microfinance experience is an advantage.
